Who you are contracting with
Settle is the seller of this service and these terms are an agreement between you and Settle. Settle ("Settle", "we", "us") is a business established in Ireland, operating this website and the graduate affordability service on it under the trading name Settle. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Settle on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it; if you are using it as an individual, you confirm that you are of legal age to enter a contract.
What the service is
Settle gathers published data on graduate salaries, effective tax rates, living costs, employment outcomes, visa routes and language requirements, and presents estimates based on that data. Estimates are informational only. They are not financial, tax, legal, immigration or career advice, and they are not a promise of any salary, job offer, visa outcome or cost. You remain responsible for your own decisions and for verifying anything that matters to you against the linked sources.
Your account
Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account, and for keeping the information you give us accurate and current.
Acceptable use
You must not use Settle unlawfully; commit fraud; send spam; infringe anyone's intellectual property; upload malware; probe, scan or otherwise interfere with the security of the service; or scrape, bulk download or resell our data or content. You must not reverse engineer the service or attempt to circumvent technical limits, including the limits of the free tier.
Intellectual property
Settle owns the service, its software, design, compiled datasets, documentation and branding, and retains all rights in them. Subscribing gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own purposes within the plan you have chosen. Underlying public data remains the property of the statistical bodies and other sources credited alongside each figure.
Payment, subscriptions and taxes
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, renewal, tax and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. The monthly plan renews automatically each month until cancelled. The one week pass is a single payment that does not renew. Cancelling stops future charges and leaves your access in place until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Referrals
Referral commission is credited only on genuine sign ups by other people. Self referrals, duplicate accounts, fraudulent traffic and payments that are later refunded or charged back do not earn commission, and we may withhold or reverse credit in those cases.
Availability and warranties
We do our best to keep Settle running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, error free or that data will always be current. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of Settle is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost opportunities, relocation costs or loss of data. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access for material breach of these terms, non payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious misuse. You may stop using Settle at any time; you can request deletion of your saved data by contacting us.
Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms as the service develops, and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact route listed on our about page.
